Transparent Information Services Price Comparison Tool compares prices of your current vendors against Transparent Information Services and up to three other vendors.
  1. Under column titled #, fill in the number of Searches used in a single applicant report that you want to compare.
  2. Under Vendor 1, 2 or 3, fill in the price your current vendor charges for a single search, we will calculate the price per report that you are paying per vendor and compare them against Transparent Information Services's pricing and each other.
  3. For example, you might want to compare 1, 2 or 3 vendors' pricing for a single report containing 1 Social Security Number search, 3 County record searches, an I-9 search and 1 Verification, etc.
  4. Vendor 1 contains sample data from a typical vendor but can be overwritten if you choose.

Report Fee Tiers

Transparent Information Services believes that a Social Security Number Trace should be the first step in the background check process. This search helps to verify the information that will be used to initiate all other searches. In order to ensure that the background check begins with accurate information, Transparent Information Services will initiate a Social Security Number Trace with all background checks, at no charge. Provided there is at least one other search or verification in the background check, the Social Security Trace is FREE and does not count toward the total number of searches when determining the Report Fee.

The pricing tool does not calculate any additional fees that may be charged when obtaining some statewide and county criminal histories, driver histories, previous employment, degrees and attendance.

Verifications are priced separately and not considered when determining the Report Fee Tier above. Price is per verification, subject to contractual definitions. Any applicable information access fees charged separately.

Drug Screenings are priced separately and not considered when determining the report fee. Price is per screening, subject to contractual definitions.
